In the months of June, July and August, the 9€ ticket was valid. At the same time, existing local transport tickets were also reduced to €9.00 per month. This also applies to the semester ticket, which cost only 9€ per month during the three months. However, since the fee for the semester ticket was already paid at the time of re-registration for the summer semester 2022, we could not discount the semester ticket, but had to find another way to refund the difference between the normal monthly price for the semester ticket and the 9,00 € per month, i.e. a total of 68,10 €.
The refund will now be processed via an online application tool, where you can log in with your ZIH login and enter your bank account details. The reimbursement will then be made to this account. To apply if you don't have access to your ZIH login, please see here.
The application deadline has been extended, provisionally until Dec. 31, 2025. You can now submit applications again via the online tool. We will add the next planned transfer dates on this page as soon as they are fixed.
Who is eligible to apply?
All students who have earned a semester credit during the 2022 summer semester are eligible to apply.
Students who received a semester ticket refund during the 2022 summer semester are also eligible to apply.
Students who did not purchase a semester ticket or were not yet enrolled in the 2022 summer semester are not eligible to apply.
How can an application be submitted?
You can apply via the online application tool, which you can access at https://neuneuroticket.stura.tu-dresden.de.
Procedure:
- Login with ZIH login
- Enter a valid IBAN
- Confirm that you have read and understood the privacy policy
- Send application
As long as your application has not yet been forwarded to the university for transfer, you can call up the application form again at any time to adjust the IBAN.
IBANs from the SEPA area are permitted for reimbursement. Please check with your bank if there are any fees for a transfer in Euro. However, this is usually not the case for bank accounts from countries with the euro as the national currency.
What is the refund amount and how is it made up?
The refund amount is 68,10 €.
For each month you will receive 22,70 €, which is calculated from the normal monthly price for the semester ticket (excl. the MOBIbike share of 5,00 € per semester) of 31,70 € and subtracted from this, the price of 9,00 € for the ticket.
When will the refund be transferred?
The transfer of the claims is taken care of for us by the university.
Reimbursements are sent to the university and then transferred by the university.
The first transmission to the university took place on October 7, 2022. For all applications submitted by then the money was transferred by the university in a timely manner.
The second transmission to the university took place on November 3, 2022. For all application submitted after the first transmission and until then will be transferred by the university in a timely manner. The third transmission took place on December 19th, 2022.
The up-to-date dates are visible at the top of the webseite.
How can exmatriculated students who no longer have a ZIH login apply for a refund?
For exmatriculated students, unfortunately, a manual application is necessary.
To do so, please send us your enrollment certificate for the summer semester 2022 and the IBAN to which the refund should be transferred to neuneuroticket@stura.tu-dresden.de. With your mail you acknowledge to have read and understood the privacy policy at http://stura.link/dse9eur.
Semester ticket refund and 9€ ticket refund
Within the framework of the contribution regulations of the student body (Beitragsordnung, BO), students can be reimbursed for individual months of the semester ticket in certain cases. This is possible, for example, in the case of a study-related internship or a study-related stay abroad.
The semester ticket refunds for the months of June, July and August have been reduced from €31.70 to €9.00, so that these students are also eligible for the €9 ticket refund.
In combination of the semester ticket refund (9,00 €) and the 9€-ticket refund (22,70 €) you will get back the full monthly amount of 31,70 €.

What personal data is used in the online application tool?
Due to the processing of personal data, we have written a privacy policy explaining the type of data submitted and the purpose for which it will be used. You can find the privacy policy here: http://stura.link/dse9eur
Wasn't an offset against the re-registration sum planned for the winter semester 2022/23? And why did it all take so long?
Yes, the initial plan was to reduce the re-registration sum by €68.10. This was also agreed with the university. However, due to problems with the implementation, this solution could not be implemented in time at short notice, so that an alternative solution had to be found. This unfortunately took a long time due to a lot of coordination, so that we can unfortunately only now start with the application.
I still have questions!
If you have any questions about the 9€ ticket refund, you can contact us at neuneuroticket@stura.tu-dresden.de. For general questions you can reach us at ticket@stura.tu-dresden.de.
