Liebe Studierende,

einige haben es sicher schon mitbekommen: Die Wiedereröffnung der Neuen Mensa und damit auch der Bierstube stehen bevor.
„Was ist denn bitte die Bierstube?“, werden sich jetzt manche unter euch fragen.

Die Bierstube, bis zur Sanierung 2014 geführt durch den Studentenclub „Klub Neue Mensa e.V.“, war DER zentrale Ort auf dem Campus, an dem es nahezu jederzeit möglich war, sich bei einem kühlen Bier, leckerem Essen und verschiedensten Veranstaltungen vom Uni-Alltag zu erholen.
Nächstes Jahr soll die Sanierung ein Ende haben und macht uns damit den Weg frei, frischen Wind in die Neue Mensa, die Bierstube und somit auch auf den Campus zu bringen.
Den Gastronomie- und Barbetrieb wird das Studentenwerk Dresden übernehmen, während wir, der StuRa und die Vereinigung Dresdner Studentenclubs zusammen mit weiteren Interessierten, einen Verein gründen wollen, der den Kulturbetrieb organisieren wird. Und damit kommen wir auch zum eigentlichen Zweck dieser Mail, denn wir brauchen EUCH dafür!
Der Plan? Ein neuer Verein, der sich um Konzerte, Partys, Ausstellungen, Vorträge, Lesungen, ... in den Räumlichkeiten der Bierstube, aber auch in der Neuen Mensa kümmert. Der Kreativität werden keine Grenzen gesetzt.
Dafür sind wir auf der Suche nach zukünftigen Mitgliedern und Engagierten. Jeder noch so kleine Beitrag zur Zukunft des Vereins ist uns willkommen, egal ob ihr nur Ideen habt oder diese auch umsetzen möchtet, ihr euch um die Technik oder den Aufbau kümmern, Bands engagieren oder bei Partys an der Bar aushelfen, oder einfach nur die Abläufe im Verein regeln möchtet.
Am 16.12.2024 um 16:40 Uhr möchten wir in der Alten Mensa den Start einläuten und mit euch zusammen brainstormen, wie die Zukunft des neuen Vereins aussehen könnte. Zunächst bekommt ihr auch noch ein „Was bisher geschah”. Abgerundet wird die Veranstaltung mit einem gemütlichen Beisammensitzen bei Glühwein, Bier, Limo und weihnachtlichem Gebäck.

Dear students,

Some of you have probably already noticed: The reopening of the Neue Mensa and with it the Bierstube is coming up.
“What is the Bierstube?”, some of you might ask.

The Bierstube, which was run by the student club “Klub Neue Mensa e.V.” until its renovation in 2014, was THE place on campus to relax from everyday university life with a cold beer, delicious food and various events at almost any time.
Next year, the refurbishment is due to come to an end, paving the way for us to bring a breath of fresh air to the Neue Mensa, the Bierstube and thus also to the campus.
The Studentenwerk Dresden will take over the bar and kitchen operations, while we, the StuRa and the Vereinigung Dresdner Studentenclubs, together with other interested people, want to found an association that will organize the cultural events. And that brings us to the actual purpose of this mail, because we need YOU to do it!
The plan? A new association that will organize concerts, parties, exhibitions, talks, readings, ... in the rooms of the Bierstube as well as the Neue Mensa. There are no limits to creativity.
We are therefore looking for future members and driven people. Any contribution to the future of the association, no matter how small, is welcome. Whether you just have ideas or would like to implement them, take care of the event technology or the set-up, hire bands or help out at the bar during parties, or simply want to run the processes in the association.
On 16.12.2024 at 16:40 we would like to ring in the start in the Alte Mensa and brainstorm with you what the future of the new association could look like. First of all, you will also get a “What has happened so far”. The event will be rounded off with a cozy get-together with mulled wine, beer, lemonade and Christmas snacks.
